Coming AttractionsNew iris varieties are created by hand crossing 2 desired irises by pollination. The resulting cross develops seeds and these seeds are planted and new plants are created. The resulting plants are known as seedlings. These seedlings will undergo a number of examinations over a period of several years before the best are selected and named. We offer a glimpse of new seedlings here for you to see what is possibly coming to the website in the future. These plants do not have names, they are still being considered as to whether they are worthy to bring to the market. It is almost certain, that some of these will not be named and sold. We welcome your comments on the various seedlings and it might help us consider certain ones for introduction to the market.
