The heavily ruffled standards are lavender. The heavily ruffled falls are dark, velvety purple black with a 3/8 inch medium violet bands. There is a pale lavender belly stripe that extends to the rims. Beards are dark red with purple ends. Slight, mild fragrance. This iris is not from the popular bearded families that are prominent in the iris world right now. Totally different breeding lines.
